                       3. DNA visualization on gel: Agarose gel electrophoresis for plasmid detection and viral detection      

                       4. Protein studies: Protein isolation, purifications and electrophoresis                           

                  5. Basic wet lab biotech overview: Autoclaving, sterilization, distillation, micropipettes handling and calibration

                         6. Theory:  basic theory on central dogma of molecular biology, PCR, DNA electrophoresis, protein electrophoresis

                        Duration : 6 days (WORKING HOURS 48, DNA extraction with Three PCR protocols)

                        1. Nucleic acid extraction

                        DNA: DNA extraction from bacteria  

                                                                                                

                        2. Polymerase Chain Reaction                                                                                                                        

                        a. Basic standard PCR: Plasmid DNA amplification

                        b. Advanced PCR: Single Nucleotide Polymorphism studies in genetic disorders         

                       Applied PCR for bacterial identification

                         5.  Theory: Complete theory on each and every aspect of topic covered in wet lab i.e. DNA extraction to PCR including theory

                          of PCR,   electrophoresis, STR and genotyping, SNP primer designing, pre and post PCR purifications, DNA sequencing, 

                         Data  handling of actual DNA  sequences carried out at ATG as  a part of in-house projects, basic bioinformatics applications

                         for biotechnologists
